Bernie Kerik was a dedicated public servant whose career spanned law enforcement, public safety, and national security. He served with distinction as the 40th Police Commissioner of the New York City Police Department, leading the NYPD during the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Prior to that, he held the role of Commissioner of the Department of Correction, where he implemented major reforms and earned national recognition. A decorated Army veteran and former NYPD detective, Kerik was known for his unwavering commitment to protecting others. Throughout his life, he remained a strong voice on issues of security, justice, and leadership.

Alongside his unwavering dedication to this country, Bernie was a cherished friend of both Nine Line Apparel and the Nine Line Foundation. He was always the first to step up—donating his time, voice, and support to help raise funds for our nation’s heroes, including wounded veterans and first responders.

In his honor, a portion of the proceeds from this shirt will be donated to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and to support Bernie’s family.
